eveXso and Acumatica warehouse management
Acumatica runs the business: customers, purchasing, sales orders, costing, manufacturing planning, and the financial ledger.
eveXso runs the physical operation: receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, checking, despatch, driver runs, and production-floor movements.
Two different jobs
The systems work together. Commercial documents come from Acumatica, warehouse staff complete the physical work in eveXso, and the resulting receipts, shipments, transfers, production movements, and adjustments are posted back.

How the systems work together
eveXso does not replace Acumatica. Acumatica also does not need to receive every scan performed in the warehouse.

Introduce warehouses gradually
eveXso can operate the sites that need a specialist floor system while other branches continue using Acumatica's warehouse screens. Live document updates are backed by a scheduled safety-net process.
Keep stock figures aligned
Acumatica remains the financial inventory record. A reconciliation process compares Acumatica on-hand quantities with eveXso so differences can be investigated and corrected without creating a second ledger.
Speed and ease of use
On a warehouse device, speed is the time between scans. We have not published a controlled stopwatch comparison. The observations below describe the products' different designs and public Acumatica-user feedback. Performance varies by environment, infrastructure, customization, and workflow.

A published App Store review describes Acumatica WMS as very fast. That differs from recurring concerns in Acumatica community discussions, which is why customers should test both products with their own devices, data, network, and peak-volume workflow.
What eveXso adds
Both systems support core receiving, putaway, single-order picking, wave picking, batch picking, packing, and shipping. Statements about Acumatica below reflect public product material reviewed in September 2026. Acumatica can also be extended through customization and certified marketplace products.

Transport and delivery
Acumatica can rate supported parcel services and connect shipments to LTL and TL freight providers. eveXso also manages the physical transport operation after warehouse despatch.

Production-floor execution
Acumatica Manufacturing is a full manufacturing product. It provides bills of material, routings, planning, costing, material requirements, production orders, and shop-floor data collection. eveXso does not replace that planning or costing. It adds warehouse-style execution of the physical job.
Issue materials using the required FIFO, FEFO, batch, serial, or catch-weight rules.
Complete configurable forms before a batch starts and after it finishes, storing the answers against the job.
Place finished goods directly onto a licence-plated pallet and print its SSCC label before putaway.
Move finished packs straight to storage or a pick face so they become normal warehouse stock.
Run kits, conversions, disassembly, and catch-weight production on the same floor device.
Post the production movements back while Acumatica retains planning, costing, and the production order.
What changed in Acumatica 2026 R1
Acumatica continues to invest in its warehouse product. Its March 2026 release announcement includes:
- +Changing picking locations during the process
- +Recommended putaway locations
- +Automatic lot and serial number generation
- +Batch pick lists despite inventory shortages
- +Improved shipping paperwork and print-queue management
- +Approval workflows for inventory adjustments
These are meaningful improvements. They do not change the fundamental choice: Acumatica provides warehouse workflows inside the ERP, while eveXso provides a separate floor-execution platform with licence plates, independent checking, pick-face replenishment, local transport workflows, driver operations, and production execution.
Which one fits your operation
There is no useful version of this page where one product wins everything. Here is our honest read.
Choose Acumatica WMS if
- The warehouse is straightforward, the volume is moderate, and native receiving, directed picking, packing, shipping, and counting already cover the work.
- US parcel carriers, or a simple freight connection, are enough. You do not run your own trucks or need Australian and UK consigning in the same pick.
- Keeping stock and the ledger in one post matters more than a specialist floor system.
- You want to stay inside Acumatica and fill one gap, such as licence plating or labelling, with a marketplace add-on.
Choose eveXso if
- Pickers are waiting on the gun, or the floor needs licence plates, GS1, FEFO, catch weight, or a customer shelf-life rule at the scan.
- You need a separate check after pack, retailer labels, or a wrong item put back to stock without rewriting the shipment.
- You deliver on your own trucks, through Australian or UK carriers, or from a customer-collection counter.
- Production and the warehouse should be the same device. Acumatica keeps the orders, the purchasing, and the accounts.

A practical way to decide
Choose Acumatica's native warehouse module when the operation is relatively simple and the value of running warehouse and finance inside one application outweighs the need for a specialist floor system.
Choose eveXso when the physical operation is the constraint: pickers wait on devices, packs need their own identity, shelf life must be enforced, retailer labels are complex, production feeds directly into the warehouse, or orders leave through local carriers and owned vehicles.
Acumatica keeps the customers, orders, purchasing, manufacturing planning, costing, and accounts. eveXso runs the physical work and posts the commercial result back.
